The Milan Public Library, in an attempt to better serve the community, is establishing a 
home delivery program. The rules for obtaining this service are as follows:

1. The patron must be unable to come to the library on his or her own. This may be a 
permanent or temporary condition.

2. The patron must live within a five-mile radius of the Milan Public Library.

3. The patron must live in the legal service area of the Milan Public Library.

4. Books, magazines, audio books and music CDs may be requested.

5. Videos will not be part of the program.

6. Items will be delivered every other week, at a regularly scheduled time, during library 
hours only. Items may be delivered by a librarian or a volunteer.

7. A librarian will select the materials to be sent, although patrons may request specific 
titles, authors or subject areas. Outreach patrons will be placed on a waiting list with 
other library patrons for the newest materials.
