SUMMER DOG DAYS SPECIAL – BENEFIT FOR LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER

FINES FORGIVEN ON OVERDUE BOOKS AUGUST 4 – 16

The Milan Public Library will offer a special time of fine amnesty to all our patrons for any overdue books that are returned in good condition. This two week period will allow patrons a chance to bring back late materials without paying a fine. In order to qualify for this special opportunity, patrons are asked to donate an item to benefit a local pet shelter. According to their wish list, they are in desperate need of:

Cat food
Kitty litter
Blankets that can be washed
Grooming supplies
Dog food, some canned ok
Metal dog crates
Bones and toys
Puppy /dog collars of all sizes
Cleaning supplies

Help the shelter and have your current overdue fines forgiven at the same time! Remember, overdue materials must be returned to the library in good condition. Lost book fees and lost card fees will do not qualify. No matter how long the book has been overdue, the Milan Public Library wants it back.
