Summer Reading Program at Milan Public Library
June 20 - August 8, 2008
Programs for All Ages
Magician Gordon Russ has assembled a cast of bugs, creepy crawlies, and other critters to entertain you in a show filled with comedy and magic. This program is funded in part by Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and Michigan Humanities Council.
Take a photo of a bug and bring it to the library. It can be a real bug, someone dressed up like a bug, a bug you have made, or any kind of bug! We’ll display the photos at the library.
Snuggle up on your own little rug and listen to stories and songs of Anansi the Spider and other creatures that will warm your heart and tickle your funny bone. Everyone goes home with a spider bookmark after this fun and interactive program by Storyteller Karen Czarnik.

Registration is required for these programs.
Children under 10 should be accompanied by an adult at all programs.

Receive a small prize and enter a drawing after you read or listen to books for 3, 6, and 9 hours. Enter the drawing again for each additional 3 hours. Everyone who completes at least 6 hours of reading will receive a certificate and prize bag at the end of the program.
