This class is for the person who knows how to use a computer, but needs a program for typing documents. Instruction includes the basics of how to create new documents, use templates, cut/paste, change line spacing, fonts, italics, bold and other aspects of the Word 2007 toolbar. Basic computer skills are required.

For the person who has little or no computer experience; learn computer basics in the Windows environment. Learn how to turn on and off the computer, use the start menu and taskbar, open multiple windows, use the scroll bar and practice using a mouse.

Create a resume to keep in this informative class using MS Word. We'll teach you how to use templates to make the formation of your new resume the fast and easy way. Bring all work history information. An introduction to Microsoft Word 2007 is included. Basic computer skills required.
All classes are held on mornings at 9:00 am, before the library is open.
Registration is required and classes are limited. A $10 deposit is required at the time of registration. The money will be refunded to those who attend the class or cancel 24 hours or more in advance of the class.
