The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Perfect Resume by Susan Ireland
The recession has made finding a job harder than ever. Everything now takes place online, and a resumé's preparation is different than even a few years ago. This new edition has changed with the times, focusing on what's most important in an electronic resumé.
Death By the Book by Larry Bartolin
Bartulin introduces irrepressible Sydney, Australia, used-book dealer Jack Susko in this tight hard-boiled whodunit, the first of what one hopes will be a long series. Susko's business is slow until he gets an odd request from a well-to-do businessman.
The Everything Guide to Caring for Aging Parents by Kathy Quan
Family members need a resource that will answer all of their questions and ease them through this often-complicated transition. This helpful handbook guides concerned children as they: decide which level of care is best for their parent and other sensitive issues.
Just Kids by Patti Smith
Smith's evocative, honest, and moving coming-of-age story reveals her extraordinary relationship with artist Robert Mapplethorpe. Part romance, part elegy, "Just Kids" is about friendship in the truest sense, and the artist's calling.
The Sisterhood of the Rose. By Jim Marrs
The author of the "New York Times" bestseller "The Rise of the Fourth Reich" presents his first novel, an edgy combination of fact and fiction in which ancient secrets are uncovered in the midst of World War II.
